What Goes Into Every Roof We Install
A finished roof looks simple from the ground, but the parts that determine how long it lasts are mostly invisible once the job is done. Every installation we complete — metal or asphalt shingle — starts with a full tear-off of the old material and a thorough inspection of the deck underneath, so any rotted or damaged sheathing gets caught and repaired before new roofing goes down.
From there, we install ice-and-water shield underlayment at the eaves, valleys, and any roof penetrations — the areas most prone to leaks in Michigan’s freeze-thaw climate — followed by properly detailed flashing around every chimney, vent, and skylight. Attic ventilation gets checked as part of the process too, since poor ventilation is one of the most common causes of premature shingle failure and ice dam formation.
Metal and Asphalt Shingle Roofing, Side by Side
- Standing seam metal roofing: clean vertical panel lines, concealed fasteners, and a finish built for decades of Michigan winters
- Metal shingle systems: the visual texture of traditional shingles with the durability and snow-shedding performance of metal
- Architectural asphalt shingles: dimensional, layered styling in a wide range of colors
- 3-tab asphalt shingles: a clean, traditional look at a lower material cost

Why We're Building Our Gallery Gradually
Rather than filling this page with stock photography that doesn’t represent our actual work, we’re building out our project gallery with genuine photos from completed Grand Blanc-area installs as they’re finished. That takes a little longer, but it means what you see here is an honest representation of the work we actually do, not marketing images licensed from somewhere else.
In the meantime, we’re glad to share photos and references from recent jobs directly — many of them within your own neighborhood. Just call and let us know what you’re interested in seeing, whether that’s a specific material, a particular type of repair, or work completed near your address.
What to Look For When Evaluating a Roofing Job
When you’re reviewing photos of roofing work — ours or anyone else’s — pay attention to the details that matter beyond the overall look: clean, straight shingle or panel lines, properly formed flashing around chimneys and vents (not just caulked-over gaps), consistent nail patterns, and tidy ridge and valley work. These details are what separate a roof that lasts its full expected lifespan from one that develops problems years ahead of schedule.
Photos and References, On Request
If seeing completed work matters to your decision — and it should — call us and tell us what you’re interested in. We can share photos from jobs similar to what you’re considering, whether that’s a specific metal roofing profile, a shingle color and style, or a repair similar to an issue you’re dealing with. We can also connect you with references from homeowners in your area who’ve had similar work done recently.
We’d rather show you real, relevant examples over the phone or during your estimate visit than fill this page with generic stock photography that doesn’t actually represent our work.
Check Back for Updates
We update this page as new project photos become available, so it’s worth checking back periodically if you’re still deciding on a contractor. In the meantime, a phone call remains the fastest way to see real examples of recent work relevant to your project.
Every Roof Starts With the Same Process
Regardless of the material or the size of the job, the photos we’re building toward all represent the same underlying process: a full tear-off when appropriate, careful deck inspection, correctly installed underlayment and flashing, and a clean, detailed finish. That consistency is what we’d want you to notice most, more than any single photo.
A Final Thought on Photos vs. Process
Photos can show you what a finished roof looks like, but they can’t show you what’s underneath it — the underlayment, the flashing, the deck condition. That’s exactly why we focus this page on the process behind the work as much as the finished result.
More to Come
As new projects wrap up, we’ll continue adding real photos here. Check back, or just call and ask what we’ve completed recently near you.
Quality You Can See and Quality You Cannot
The parts of a roof you can see in a photo — clean lines, matched colors, tidy trim — matter, but so do the parts you cannot see once the job is finished. We aim to get both right on every project.
See It for Yourself
Nothing replaces an in-person look at your own roof. Schedule a free inspection and we will walk you through exactly what good workmanship looks like on your specific home.
Built on Trust, Not Just Photos
Ultimately, the strongest evidence of quality work is the relationship a contractor keeps with the homeowners they have already served. Ask us for references alongside any photos we share, and we will gladly connect you with homeowners happy to talk about their experience.
